You can say LapaDuus are airtight but breathable as the peel of an apple. So it gives a natural and healthy peel effect to all the food you cover with it. LapaDuus are natural but powerful. Thanks to this breathability, salad in LapaDuu doesn’t become slimy, and cabbage stays alive for up to one month. Salads won’t lose their freshness and become disgusting. Our LapaDuus are made from beeswax directly from nature, and they are 100% organic, providing antibacterial properties. Yes, one beeswax wrap lasts for at least up to 100 uses, which is about a year. Based on feedback from my clients, LapaDuus can last up to an impressive two years on average. Generally, if LapaDuus do not come into contact with food, they do not need to be washed because they have antibacterial properties thanks to the beeswax and pine resin in them. You only need to clean them when a piece of food has hopelessly soiled the wrap. Fortunately, our LapaDuus are easily washed with lukewarm water; simply wipe the cloth, and if necessary, you can also use mild dish soap. Later, when the wax layer has completely worn off, it can be covered with a new layer of wax if desired, giving it new life. Or they can be buried in the ground to decompose naturally or cut into small pieces and composted. Alternatively, you can cut them into strips and twist them into fire starter sticks. They can be used to get a fire going in a campfire or any kind of fireplace. Additionally, the strips can be used to tie plants in the greenhouse. So our wonderful LapaDuu leaves not a single piece of waste on our mother earth unsolved. You can say that LapaDuus are 0 waste for sure.

BIODEGRADABLE AND LEAVING NO TRACE IN NATURE

LapaDuus are biodegradable and compostable. After LapaDuu is worn out, you can rewax it with our ready-made mix of beeswax, pine tree resin, and jojoba oil, in the right ratio of all ingredients, and give it a new life. LapaDuus can also be composted. Simply bury the worn-out LapaDuu in the ground, and within a year, it will decompose nicely into a part of nature. Alternatively, just cut it into little pieces and throw it into the compost. Another wonderful feature of LapaDuu is its suitability as a fire starter. With tired cloths, it’s so easy to light a fireplace, volcano candles, or even a campfire. LapaDuus are excellent flame keepers, and the strips cut from LapaDuu are really so easy and convenient to light any kind of fire. Our ZERO waste LapaDuus truly do not burden our mother earth.
