LapaDuu is a wonderful alternative to plastic wrap. First of all, it’s completely natural – made only from natural ingredients.

We use certified cotton fabric, which means LapaDuu’s colors are entirely safe for humans. The wrap is coated with a blend of beeswax, pine resin, and jojoba oil. That means it contains no microplastics and no heavy metals like aluminum (unlike plastic wrap or foil).

Thanks to nature’s magic, the beeswax and pine resin also give LapaDuu natural antibacterial properties.

Keeps food fresher, longer

One of the key advantages of LapaDuu is its breathability – similar to a lemon peel, an apple skin, or even our own skin.

Your food simply breathes better in LapaDuu than in airtight plastic. That’s why your cheese, bread, lemons, onions, and avocados stay fresh so surprisingly long.

LapaDuu is airtight but breathable, just like an apple skin. This breathability prevents excess moisture and the risk of mold.

Easy to use and care for

LapaDuu wraps are easily shaped with the warmth of your hands. They’re durable – based on customer feedback, they can last up to a couple of years!

Naturally, they’re washable: rinse under cool water (25–30°C) and use mild soap only when needed.

In fact, you don’t need to wash your wrap too often. Beeswax has natural dirt-repelling properties. So yes – you can safely wrap a raw onion in it! And don’t worry, it won’t absorb odors easily.

100% eco-friendly and sustainable

Best of all – LapaDuu is zero waste. Not a single bit of trash is left for Mother Earth to deal with.

At the end of its life, you can refresh it with a new wax coating to make it like new again. Or simply compost it or bury it in the soil – it will break down and return to nature within a year.

Pro tip: You can also cut your old wrap into strips and twist them into little fire starters. Beeswax burns beautifully! Use them to light a fire in your fireplace, stove, or midsummer bonfire.
