Description
Crafted with the utmost care and made with warmest love!
LapaDuu beeswax wraps keeps your food fresh and delicious at all times. The beeswax woven into the fabric is entirely organic and boasts antibacterial properties, as does the pine resin. Thanks to its completely organic composition, LapaDuu beeswax fabric is airtight yet breathable, much like apple peel. This is what keeps your food fresh for an extended period. Additionally, LapaDuu wraps are made from 100% biodegradable cotton, meaning they can be composted after use. You can re-wax them as well. When cut into strips, they make excellent fire starters or can be used to tie plants in the greenhouse. You can also bury them and within a year, they become a part of nature again. Or, cut them into small pieces and add them to your compost. By using LapaDuu wraps, you show love for the world and prevent your food from going to waste!
Usage:
The beeswax wrap is self-adhesive and incredibly moldable. Take a wrap of suitable size and shape it around a half lemon, onion, slice of bread, avocado, or any food item you want to keep fresh using the warmth and pressure of your hands. You can even shape it into a little pouch for storing nuts and fruits, or use it as covers for bowls and pots. Moreover, these wraps, besides being environmentally friendly, are also very stylish food preservers. They are infused with pure and organic beeswax, known as sealing wax, enhanced with pine resin and jojoba oil for durability and extended lifespan.
Care:
Wash by hand using lukewarm water and, if needed, a mild dish soap. If the beeswax wrap is not soiled with food, washing may not be necessary. Then, hang to dry or dry with a towel. Each wrap can be used approximately 100 times (on average for about a year or up to 2 years, depending on usage intensity and exposure to high temperatures). Please note that heat is not friendly to beeswax wraps, so avoid using them with hot items, in the dishwasher, microwave, or exposing them to high temperatures in general. When not in use, store the wraps clean and dry, folded or rolled, preferably in a visible place like a nice jar or basket. This way, you’ll always remember to use them. If you prefer to keep them out of sight, you can store them in a drawer or cupboard, as long as it’s clean and dry
Extra information:
The beeswax wraps initially carry a sweet honey scent, which dissipates after a few uses. Good news for those with honey allergies: due to the ultra-pure pharmaceutical-grade beeswax used in their production, LapaDuu wraps are suitable for you as well. They are completely clean, ecological, Estonian-made, and allergy-free. However, please note that: LapaDuu wraps are not suitable for wrapping raw meat or fish.
